Implementing Agency of this scheme is Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Min./ Data terminal equipment of Education. Under this scheme, students belongs to SC/ST/OBC/Minorities (Including Jain Community) of Class 1 to 12 all Govt./Aided/Recognized public schools affiliated to Directorate of Education/ national Open School/ Kendriya Vidyalaya /Schools affiliated to NDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board, North/East/South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Free Supply of Stationery to SC/ST/OBC/Min. (Including Jain Community) students in school

Eligible Applicants are invited for Free Supply of Stationery to SC/ST/OBC/Min. (Including Jain Community) the scheme offered by Delhi Government. By this scheme, Delhi government provides financial assistance to purchase stationary for their studies. Applicants belong to SC/ST/OBC/Minority (including Jain Community) are eligible for this scheme.

Amount of Assistance

For Class 1st  to 8th students Rs. 100/- PER MONTH for 10 month
For class 9th to 12th students Rs. 75/- PER MONTH for 10 month


Eligibility Criteria

  • The student should study in class VI to XII of Delhi Govt. school/recognized schools of Delhi.
  • Student should not have less than 70% attendance in previous academic year
  • Family Income should not more than Rs. 2.00 Lakh P.A along with self-certified income certificate
  • Applicant should belong to minority community and should be the resident of Delhi for past three years.
  • Submit the attested copy of caste Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/Min. (Including Jain Community) issued by the competent authority of Govt. of N.CT. of Delhi i.e. SDM/Dy.Commissioner, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

Merit Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Min. Students

Merit Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Min. Students: – Delhi Government provides Merit Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Min. Students to promote talent among the SC/ST/OBC/Minorities students enabling them to face the competitive world in an incontrovertible manner. And some financial assistance offered in the form of merit scholarship.

Class I to VIII SC/ST/Min. students Rs.100/- per annum  
Class VI to X OBC Students Rs. 600/- per annum (55% of 60% marks in previous class) Rs.720/- per annum (60% and above marks in previous class)
Class IX to X SC/ST/OBC/Minorities students Rs. 1620/- per annum (55% to 60% marks in previous class) Rs. 2040/- per annum (60% and above marks in previous class)

  • Applicant should study in class I to XII of Delhi Govt. School/Recognized school of Delhi
  • Applicant family income should not more than Rs. 2.00 Lakh per annum
  • Applicant should belong to minority community and should be a resident of Delhi for past three years.

Merit scholarship for College & professional institution student belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Min

The main objective of Merit scholarship for college and the professional institution is to offer some financial help to the students belongs SC/ST/OBC/Minorities. Through this scheme, students can continue their studies at the college level by providing them scholarship so as to reduce the financial burden on their parents,  because  the spread  of higher education alongwith  development of  merit amongst  the  SC/ST communities is  one of the priority programs of the  Govt.  of India and Govt. of Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority (including Jain community) studying in college/ professional/ Technical Institution
  • A student can also avail this scholarship wither under the State Plan Scheme or Centrally Sponsored Scholarship Scheme.
  • The student not has less than 60% marks in previous academic and gets admission in recognized college / professional/technical institutions.
  • Duration of the scholarship will be for 3-year degree courses, PG studies at the college level and professional courses of degree and post graduate level and diploma studies. The duration of the different professional course may be different from course to course.
  • The applicants belong to SC/ST shall has be no limit for the income of the applicant parents/ guardians for the grant. However family income limit of OBC/Minorities shall not be above than Rs. 2.00 Lakh per annum is applicable for the applicants.
  • The applicant should have SC/ST/OBC/Minorities certificate issued by the competent authority of Delhi example Deputy Commissioner, Delhi.
  • The rate of the scholarship will be reduced to 50% in case a student failed in the annual examination, but continue studies except in the case where the student failed to appear in the annual examination on medical grounds and due to natural calamities or any other reason beyond control.
  • Intentional nonappearance in the annual examination will disqualify the student from the grant of scholarship during the next academic year.

Vocational & Tech. Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Min. Students

The objective of the scheme: – This scheme is implemented by Directorate of Training & Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. This scheme is offered to the students not only for the scope of employment for technical personnel will be better but at the same time, it will also help the students to become self-dependent or self-employment. Only SC/ST/OBC/Min. belonging student avail this scholarship.

  • Under Dr. B.R.Ambedkar State Award to SC/ST/OBC/Minorities students scholarship scheme the award of Rs. 8000/- is given to each of the topper belongs to SC/ST/OBC/Minorities.
  • SC/ST/OBC/Minorities Students in each discipline at the graduation level.

  • The scholarship award is delivered among the toppers of all technical/professional courses.
  • As the scholarship is based on a merit based, therefore no family income has been laid down.

Reimbursement of tuition fee for SC/ST/OBC/Min. students in public schools

  • The SC/ST/OBC/Minorities students who are studying in 1st to 5th will be entitled to get reimbursement of tution fees and other compulsory fee irrespective of the percentage of marks.
  • But in case of students studying in VI to XIIth  class tution and other compulsory fee will be reimbursed to only those students scoring 50% & above marks and having attendance not less than 80% in the preceding year.
  • The reimbursement is 100% to the students whose family income do not exceed Rs.60000/- per annum.
  • In case, students whose family income is more than Rs.60000/- and below Rs.1.00 lakh per annum 75% of the fee will is reimbursed.
