E-Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme 2017

E-Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme 2017: The Orissa government invites applicants for E-Medhabruti scholarship Scheme for meritorious students whose family income is low. This scholarship offered by Orissa government for higher education. The scholars need to renew the scholarship every year. The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial protection for pursuing the education. E-Medhaburti scholarship is basically presented by Department of Higher Education (DHE) government of Odisha for the meritorious students. Eligible and needed candidates can apply for this scholarship via online process. Numbers of scholarship are available for the students ever year. Candidates are advised to go through the guideline and eligibility criteria before applying for it.

These scholarships carry five merit sections. The merit list below:-

Eligibility Criteria

The qualification required, selection procedure, a period of scholarship the information regarding each merit is mentioned in below table read all instruction carefully.

Junior Merit Scholarship for +2 Students iv. Amount of scholarship per year : – Rs.3000/-

I. Qualifying marks in the last examination:- 60% of 10th Board (Final Result) for both boys and girls (BSE, Odisha or CBSE and ICSE, New Delhi)
ii. Quantum (No. of students) per year:- 10000
iii. Period of scholarship:- 2 years
v. Annual income ceiling of parents must not more than Rs. 6.00 Lakh.
vi. Selection of students for this Category of Scholarship shall be made throughdescending order of merit.
Vii. The CBSE /ICSE gr a ding system example Grade A1, A2, B1 & B2 shall be converted to the percentage of 95%, 85%, 75% & 65% respectively.
Senior Merit for +3 Students
I. Qualifying marks in last examination: – 60% of 12th Board (Final Result) for both boys and girls.
ii. Quantum (No. of students) per year: – 3000.
iii. Period of scholarship:- 3 years
iv. Amount of scholarship per year :- Rs.5000/-
v. Annual income ceiling of parents must not than Rs. 6.00 lakh.
vi. Selection of students for this category of scholarship shall be made through descending order of merit.
Vii. The CBSE or ICSE grading system example Grade A1, A2, B1 & B2 shall be converted to the percentage of 95%, 85%, 75% & 65% respectively.
P.G. Merit (Post Graduate) Scholarship
I. Qualifying marks in last examination: – 60% of +3 Final Result for both boys and girls.
ii. Quantum (No. of students) per year:-  1500
iii. Period of scholarship:- 2 years.
iv. Amount of scholarship per year :- Rs.10000/-
v. Annual income ceiling of parents must not more than Rs.6.00 lakh.
vi. Selection of students for this category of scholarship shall be made through descending order of merit.
Technical & Professional ii. Period of scholarship (in years): – According to the course duration (Maximum 5 years).

I. Quantum (No. of Students) per yea:-  10000
iii. The amount of scholarship per year: – Rs.10000/-.
iv. Annual income ceiling of parents must not more than Rs. 6.00 Lakh.
v. Regardingselection of fresh beneficiaries under Technical or Professional category. It has been decid the d that the number in each category will be based on the rank secured in the concerned entrance examination only in respect of ‘prestigious national level Government colleges’. In respect of other colleges, it will be necessary to go by the original marks secured by them In CHSE examination for determining the eligibility. In case of students of Odisha who have passed class XII in other boards like CBSE or ICSE, the normal equivalence methodology will be done to bring in parity with CHSE, Odisha.
vi. Students pursuing Technical or Professional studies in reputed National or Outside the state institutions shall get scholarship observing resident and income criteria only.
vii. Similarly, students of Veterinary, Fishery Agriculture,and Forestry & Home Science shall be awarded scholarship according to the rank allotted by OUAT.
viii. For award of engineering scholarship to students pursuing their studies in the state level institutions, selection shall be made purely on the basis of the rank obtained by a student in the JEE conducted by the Director of Technical Education & Training.
ix. The quotas for each stream of technical or professional education are to be made in the below manner.
Special Girls Merit
I. For encouragement of merit among the girl students the to prosecute higher or Professional studies in the specified institutions of excellence at National and State level, this scholarship is awarded to only girl students.
ii. Quantum (No. of students) per year:-  44
iii. Period of Scholarship (In Year) :- Accordingly course duration (Maximum 5 years)
iv. Amount of Scholarship per year:- Rs.12000/-
v. There is no income ceiling of parents of the girl students under this scheme.
vi. This scholarship shall be given to those girl students who have taken admission in the specified institutions such as:-
